Virginia Chapter The Virginia Chapter, American College of Surgeons is the professional specialty organization for surgeons in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We represent over 1,000 members, including community and academic surgeons, resident surgeons in the major teaching hospitals, retired surgeons and medical students. Our newsletter, The Surgical Scene, has a circulation of over 1,100 and is distributed quarterly to the Chapter members. Our audience relies on The Surgical Scene as a resource for both medical and non-medical news, products and services.
